SOCCER STAR TAB RAMOS TO HEADLINE ALL-AMERICA SOCCER WORKSHOP IN FEBRUARY
Lehigh Valley, Pa. - January 3, 2007 - Three-time U.S. Soccer Men's National World Cup star Tab Ramos will be the featured guest at the inaugural
All-America Soccer Workshop on February 23-25, 2007 at the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel & Conference Center on Routes 22 and 512 in Bethlehem, Pa.
The overall theme of the workshop is player and family soccer development with a goal of improving the enjoyment, awareness, interest and passion
for the sport for everyone. It will demonstrate the right way of introducing people to the sport and making soccer a fun-filled lifetime experience.
The workshop is for players, their parents and their coaches regardless of state and league affiliations.
Ramos, who is now retired as an active player, was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2005. He is President and Founder of Tab Ramos
Soccer Programs and has been at the forefront of player development since 1995. Teams and players who train with Ramos are recognized across the
country for their top quality play.
Ramos will help kick-off the workshop on Friday evening at 6 p.m. during a reception, autograph session and panel discussion where he and other
soccer pros will discuss what it takes to become a special player at every playing level.
Panel members are scheduled to include: Hall of Fame member Walter Bahr, who played in every U.S. Men's National Soccer Team from 1948 - 1957 and
later became the men's soccer head coach at Temple and Penn State Universities; Lock Haven University men's head soccer coach Doug Moore, a
professional soccer player for 13 years in England; and Jim Stamatis, a Lehigh Valley native who won the Hermann Award as America's 1979
college player of the year. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Ted Fay, Chair of the Sport Management Program at Cortland State University
(SUNY) and a research fellow for Northeastern University’s Sport in Society's Disability Sport Research Initiative.

Admission to the weekend workshop is $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 6 - 14. Tickets will also be available at the door. The fee includes

The All-America Soccer Workshop is being organized by Colone Associates and the Lehigh Valley Sports Commission, an affiliate of the Lehigh Valley
