Mission Statement:
to create strategic development programs to build expanded fan interest within all levels of American Soccer, from youth programs to the professional leagues.
Vision Statement:
to conduct, over a multi year extended timeframe, a comprehensive National survey and/or assessment of attitudes,
along with overall interest in the sport of soccer among established and potential audiences.

Strategic Goals:
Prepare and conduct an integrated-multi level national survey, compile and document all accumulated data, create fan building concepts, test market concepts, and to produce multi faceted systems designed to bring major league, tier #1 spectator status at all levels of American Soccer.

THOSE INVOLVED
Dr. Ted Fay is a research fellow for Sport in Society's Disability Sport Research Initiative. He is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Sport Management Program at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland. Fay holds a Ph.D. in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, a M.P.A. in Public Affairs from the University of Oregon, and a B.A. in Government from St.Lawrence University. He has been an active member of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) and several national governing bodies including the US Ski & Snowboard Association and the US Biathlon Association.
David Snyder, Esq. is the Assistant Program Coordinator of the Sport Management Program at the State University of New York at Cortland. He has held a
number of executive level positions in the sports industry, including serving as president of Rising Crane Sports Consultants for three years. Mr. Snyder received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law in May 1985 and he has been licensed to practice law in the State of New York since 1986. He continues to remain active in the field as a consultant. His areas of expertise include international sports, sports marketing and sport law.
Albert L. Colone, prior to forming Colone Associates, held the position of executive director
of the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, New York from 1979 to 1997. He pioneered efforts towards creating
the definition and concept for the Hall and subsequently, helped found and establish the National Soccer Museum and
its allied educational programs. Prior to his years at the Hall, he founded and organized City of Oneonta adult
recreational soccer programs and the Oneonta Mayor’s Cup Collegiate Soccer Tournament, once considered the longest
